Brooks Koepka has opted to bring in a new driver for this week's Masters Tournament at Augusta, with the LIV Golf star on the quest to win his first green jacket.

Koepka had been using the TaylorMade Qi10 ‘Dot’ during his last outing at LIV Miami this week, but having hit just 52 percent of fairways on the Blue Monster at Trump Doral, the five-time major champion has a new driver in the bag for the opening major of the campaign.

Koepka has made the move over to Titleist, with the Smash GC captain hitting the GT3, having been seen testing out the club on the range at Augusta during practice on Tuesday.

He then confirmed the switch-up to ESPN ahead of Wednesday's par-three contest, where he made a hole-in-one whilst playing alongside fellow LIV member Dustin Johnson. Koepka heads into the Masters on the back of an up-and-down start to his 2025 LIV season.

Despite two underwhelming showings in Riyadh and Hong Kong, Koepka came close to adding a sixth LIV title to his resume, having finished second in Singapore behind Joaquin Niemann. Elsewhere, the American finished tied-seventh in Adelaide before ending in a tie for 18th in Miami.

Prior to his fourth start of the season last week, Koepka admitted he is usually a slow starter in the early part of the season but feels his game is heading in the right direction ahead of the off in Augusta this week. "I'd say mine starts probably like a month ago," he said of his preparation.

"Typically a slow starter when it comes to playing actually good tournament golf, but everything seems to be piecing together nicely. I like where I'm at right now. Just focused a lot on ball-striking. Everything inside maybe 200 yards is kind of what I tend to focus on quite a bit, and just touch around the greens because you're going to need that at Augusta."

Koepka announced himself as the most successful major champion of his generation after overtaking Rory McIlroy when winning his fifth flagship crown at the PGA Championship at Oak Hill in 2023. Despite having five majors to his name, he still has two wins missing in his hunt for the Grand Slam.

He has yet to win both the Open Championship and the Masters, but he has come close to getting his hands on a green jacket previously. Koepka has finished tied-second on two occasions during his career, the latest coming in 2023, where he headed into the final round with a two-shot lead. He was eventually chased down by fellow LIV star Jon Rahm after Koepka carded a three-over-par 75 on day four.
