Central Lee cleaned up the high school golf competition at the Elks Fairview Golf Club Thursday in the 2025 Keokuk Invitational.
The tournament has a modified format.
The school teams No. 1 and No. 2 golfers play their own ball and compete for a medal. The No. 3s and No. 4s play better ball and compete for a medal. The No. 5s and No. 6s play a scramble for a medal.
Central Lee ran away with the tournament victory, scoring a 37-stroke win with a 304 total.
The medal play winner was Central Lee’s Mylan Lowenberg with a 76. Moravia’s Logan Smith was second with a 78.
In better ball Central Lee was again the winner as Carson Morrison and Carter Jones carded a 74.
Notre Dame’s Kaiden Dietzenbach and Mason Watkins shot 78.
In the scramble it was Central Lee’s Bo Herdrich and Carver Hayes posting a 70.
Notre Dame’s CJ Davis and Teague Havener had a 78.
Clark County’s Grayden Kleine shot 51-45--96 and Owen Eddleman posted a 42-51--93 in medal play.
Kole Ross and Karson Kirchner had a 41-44--85 playing better ball. Brendin Harvey and Gage Bowen shot 43-45--88 playing the scramble format.
