Area Boys Golf: Pequot Lakes finish 3rd in Milaca

Four area boys golf teams were in action Thursday, April 25.

MILACA — Pequot Lakes’ Logan Fogarty shot a 74 to be second in a Granite Ridge Conference meet Thursday, April 25, at Stones Throw Golf Course.

The Patriots placed third as a team with a score of 321. Jerome Martin shot an 80 to be ninth.

Little Falls was led by Ryan Oothoudt with a 78 and Luke Avery with an 82. The Flyers placed fourth with a 340.

Nathan Cekalla shot an 83 to lead the Pierz Pioneers to eighth with a 374.

Pillager 4th in Quad County

BATTLE LAKE — Drew Berent led the Pillager Huskies with an 86 in a Quad County Conference meet Thursday, April 25, at Balmoral Golf Course.

The Huskies finished fourth as a team with a score of 351. Wyatt Glas and Parker Pallansch both shot 89 for Pillager.
