Former child of Talo’fo’fo’ Jacob Reyes recently got back on the green to wrap up the fall season of the U.S. Kids Golf Tournament on Sunday at Boulder City Golf Course in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Thanksgiving holiday, or his recent 12th birthday, didn’t stop him from winning another championship title. In fact, it was another reason for him and the family to celebrate the month.

Jacob Reyes, second from right, displays his first place plaque with other winners of the fall season’s U.S. Kids Golf tournament on Nov. 27, 2022, in Las Vegas. Reyes returned to place first in the 11-year-old boys division.

Reyes finished in first place after shooting 73 in the 11-year-old boys division of the tournament. The division looked to be the most competitive division with runner-up Preston Mattox shooting 75 and Trey Amico and Tyler Cleveland shooting 77. Mattox’s finish was what Reyes previously shot in the tournament. Reyes bested himself this time as he ended up taking the overall championship for the tour with the highest points total over the eight-tournament season.

Reyes has been invited to compete in January 2023, going against the top golfers in the western tour.
