Name: Ashley Yun
School: Walnut
Year: Junior
Noteworthy: Yun led the way as Walnut won the CIF Southern Section Division 1 title for the second straight year and its seventh sectional title in the past decade. Yun shot the low round of 72 for Walnut — team score of 384 — in the victory at Los Serranos’ North course. Esther Lee’s 76 was the second-lowest round for the Mustangs. Yun will compete this week in the regional qualifier for the state finals.
