Tiger Woods was in attendance at the US Open semi-final between Rafael Nadal and Juan Martin Del Potro.
Woods, who has not played competitive golf since January this year, watched the Spaniard overcome the Argentinian in four sets with his two children, Sam and Charlie.Ā
The 14-time major golf champion and his two children sat alongside Nadal's coaches, friends and family on Friday as they saw the Spaniard progress to the final at the Arthur Ashe Stadium.

Woods was in high spirits on Friday as he saw the Spaniard progress to US Open final
Woods was also in Nadal's box at the US Open back in 2015, where he watched the 31-year-old tennis star overcome Fabio Fognini.
Meanwhile, golfing great Woods has madeĀ progress towards a return to competitive golf after he was recently cleared to resume short-game practice.

The former world No 1, who is continuing his rehabilitation from a back injury, has not played since theĀ Farmers Insurance Open where he missed the cut.
Back at the end of August, Woods posted a video on Instagram of himself chipping, accompanied by the message: 'Ā Dr. gave me the ok to start pitching'.
The 41-year-old, who spent 683 weeks as world No 1, currently ranks 1,130th.
